Curated by the team at Kalamata’s Kitchen, the Taste Bud Travel Guide serves up remarkable food experiences that will delight the entire family. These destinations will not only leave the most food-obsessed grownups satisfied, but they’ll treat young diners like true VIPs (even if they’re in a high chair).

Building for Scale
The original Taste Bud Travel Guide was built on the same platform as the Kalamata’s Kitchen ecommerce site—which led to limitations both on the front end and back end as the guide grew. So, the decision was made to rebuild the guide onto its own custom platform and craft a unique sub-brand. We chose Contentful as our headless CMS to allow for future scalability across more destinations and channels (like native apps).

As users browse each city, they can filter results by neighborhood and explore by map as their appetites grow.
Destination Templates
Each destination on the guide comes to life with gorgeous photography and vivid, sensorial descriptions. Grown-ups can review a list of kid-friendly features, browse the menu and even make a reservation.
